In today's lesson I will be working on my research and planning tasks as this is my last lesson until september. Therefore I am going to have to work very hard over summer to meet my deadline succesfully. Therefore I am planning to make a start on my analysis from previous A2 work. This will be beneficial when analysing the pros and cons and giving me advise on what not to do. Therefore I can hopefully pick up a wide range of tips and produce a successful music video.

Today as my double period consisted of an exam based lesson I had no time to work on the coursework aspect of my studies. However I used it wisely as I spent an hour and abit filming for the first time on the green screen. This was very beneficial for myself as I need to have an understanding when using the programmes in order to produce my final music video.

Later today I will be presenting my pitch to the rest of the class as I have now completed it and ready to share my ideas and get ideas and feedback from the rest of my class mates. Likewise as I have had free periods this morning I have been productive and have ensured that I make a start on the theory of Andrew Goodwin.Although I have not finished due to needing to go into further detail about voyeurism and the female singer being objectified. Hopefully I will be able to finish this in today's lesson if there is any extra time.

Today as I have a double lesson and have a target to complete I am aiming to complete as many of my planning tasks as possible. Therefore I have finished my mood board and put it onto my blog so I can tick it off as completed. Now I have a single lesson left I am hoping to make a start on my pitching task as I have to present it to the rest of the class next week. Once that is done I will import the clip onto my computer and edit and cut it down where appropriate.

The above screenshot is highlighting all the images I collected when creating my mood board. I have decided to collect the above images as I believe that these are most effective when relating to the genre of music that I am aiming to portray. Furthermore I believe that all the pictures stated visualise the setting that I am hoping to film my music video in aswell as all the particular props and costumes, for example balloons, guitar, camera etc.Hopefully my final product when completed will have the majority of these items as I believe that these are vital resources when wanting to display the pop kind of theme to the intended audience aswell as maintaining their interest.

Today I have come in early before my lesson to complete any outstanding work. However once I was in school I saw my teacher and was informed about the work that I had missed from the previous week. Therefore as I had found out that I needed to complete my pitch for my music video I am aiming to finish and present this piece of work for tomorrow. Once finished I will present my presentation in front of the class to then be filmed allowing me to attatch it to my blog so that I have everything that the examiner needs to see covered.

Today I have completed my two research tasks in order to meet my weekly deadline that was set in class by my teacher. I decided to complete the possible equipment task, alongside the 'codes and conventions of a music video' presentation. I personally believe that these were the most beneficial of all of the research tasks to start off with as they are all easy to complete even when I am still exactly unsure on what I am doing for my final task. Furthermore each week I am hoping to complete two research tasks a week so that by summer I would have completed them all and will be able to purely focus on just the production and filming stages of my music video. Once all my research tasks have been completed I will find that I have one less thing to worry about and therefore can focus purely on getting my music video to the nearest possible professional standard.
