Production Log
Tuesday 25th February 2014
Today I have decided to come to media for my frees. I have decided to base my time around media due to having a deadling next friday. Therefore I aim to spend my time wisely and aim to finish all my evaluation questions this morning. When these have been completed I am going to work on my blog tidying it up and making sure everything is completed to the best possible standard. Furthermore during the week I also aim to get all my filming finished and edited alongside having final photos for my digipak.

Today I have come in due to study sessions being run in the half term. I thought this was useful due to being able to catch up with any work I am behind on. Similarly it allows me to use the school equipment which I don't have at home such as Indesign and Premier. Today I am aiming to finish my evaluations as my deadline is getting closer. Once these are completed I am going to try and clean up my blog. I will do this by making sure every post is explained as this will inform the examiner why I did certain things.

In today's lesson I am going to upload my music video feedback which I presented to the class. This was beneficial when conducting relevant feedback as I wanted to get both constructive and positive feedback. I am going to look at all the constructive feedback as I aim to improve my music video to the best standard possible.

Tuesday 17th December
Today I aim to complete my digipak as I only have to finalise the font. Therefore as this shouldn't take long I am hoping to construct some ideas for my digipak. This will be beneficial as it will allow me to become organised when knowing and understanding what exact pictures I need to take. Once I have taken these pictures I hope to get my digipak finished by the hand in date. Furthermore I am filming tomorrow evening the last bits of footage. I have left it until then due to the bad weather we have had.

In today's lesson I worked on my coursework within the first 50 minutes. During this time I finished doing one remaining planning task which was 'The Structure Of My Music Video' aswell as placing some remaining and appropriate footage to my premier file. After these 50 minuets were up I then worked on the exam section whereby recording a section of a question. I am planning to go to media after school as I haven't got long until my deadline. I am planning to stay after school for several days as I want to make sure everything is handed in on time to it's best ability.

In today's lesson I am aiming to complete my remaining planning tasks so that my blog is finished. Once these are all completed I will resume my filming as I still have shots to take aswell as editing them all on premier. My target is to have everything completed by Christmas so that when I come back I can concentrate on the exam side of the course.

Today I am aiming to go in my frees to my media class to complete a few of my planning tasks. Yesterday although there was a teacher strike I still came in for my media lesson due to my teacher being in. Therefore I finally managed to complete the rest of my research tasks and made a start on my planning tasks again. Yesterday I made two voki's one of Megan Brant who is starring in my music video and one of the originial singer. Likewise I made a questionaire and asked for my class mates to fill it in as they were appropriate and relevant for my intended target audience.

In today's lesson as my teacher is not in I am planning to focus on my planning and research tasks for the whole two periods. This gives me an opportunity to catch up and get further ahead of everyone else and therefore I will be able to concentrate on my filming stages. I hope to finish both my planning and research tasks by the end of these two weeks as over the October half term I hope to construct the majority of my filming enabling me to edit it when I'm back from the weeks break.

In today's lesson I have made sure that I have looked through other peoples blogs not only to make sure that I am up to date but to check if there are any extra tasks I can add to my blog. Similarly I have finished my analysis of Kate Nashs music video foundations due to picking the song to remake when producing my own music video. I aim to add more videos to my blog to make it different and original to the rest of the candiates I am up against.

In today's lesson I am aiming to complete a research task that I have already made a start on. The one I am aiming to complete consists of 'Analysis of previous A2 students work.' I hope to get a variety of shots and angles in order to show my understanding of the given music video. Once this task has been completed I am then able to make a start on the remainder tasks and hopefully by the end of the month have all research tasks completed. Similarly yesterday I made a start on my filming however only got a small proportion of it filmed. I used both my artists and got my female protagonist to sing to ensure that everything used looks as realistic as possible.

Today as I have my study periods I aim to complete the remaining research tasks. Therefore I hope to make a start and finish my 'previous A2 students work analysis.' If I manage to complete this within the time I have then I may make a start on another remaining research project however will not if the time given is not enough.

Today as I have been set a deadline for my summer break to complete all the given research tasks my aim is going to consist and focus on getting these all done. I aim to finish by the end of the day all tasks on digipaks, aswell as video's that I admire. Hopefully I will be able to meet my deadline as then it will help me in future cases when being able to purely focus on the production stages of my music video and coursework without having to worry or be concerned about previous uncompleted tasks.

In today's lesson I will be working on my research and planning tasks as this is my last lesson until september. Therefore I am going to have to work very hard over summer to meet my deadline succesfully. Therefore I am planning to make a start on my analysis from previous A2 work. This will be beneficial when analysing the pros and cons and giving me advise on what not to do. Therefore I can hopefully pick up a wide range of tips and produce a successful music video.

Today as my double period consisted of an exam based lesson I had no time to work on the coursework aspect of my studies. However I used it wisely as I spent an hour and abit filming for the first time on the green screen. This was very beneficial for myself as I need to have an understanding when using the programmes in order to produce my final music video.

Later today I will be presenting my pitch to the rest of the class as I have now completed it and ready to share my ideas and get ideas and feedback from the rest of my class mates. Likewise as I have had free periods this morning I have been productive and have ensured that I make a start on the theory of Andrew Goodwin.Although I have not finished due to needing to go into further detail about voyeurism and the female singer being objectified. Hopefully I will be able to finish this in today's lesson if there is any extra time.
